What is the full title of the study?

The full title of the study is: Developing a co-designed systems-level response to safety issues for residents transitioning from hospital to care homes.

The study is being led by Dr Jason Scott (Northumbria University) with Dr Lesley Young-Murphy (North Tyneside CCG), Prof Pam Dawson (Plymouth Marjon University), Prof Justin Waring (Birmingham University), Prof Katie Brittain (Newcastle University), Michele Spencer (NT Community and Health Forum), Dr Stephanie Mulrine (Northumbria University) and Kate Byrnes (Northumbria University).

When will the research be taking place?

The SafeST study started on the 4th January 2021 and is expected to end on 31st December 2022.
