Synthetic biology for transparent materials The Centre for Defence Enterprise is to invest up to £750,000 to investigate how synthetic biology can provide transparent materials for military use. Vaccines for global epidemics – preclinical The Department of Health is to invest up to £25 million in projects to develop new vaccines against infectious diseases.
