The Department for Transport has today launched a new round of three calls which “provides seed funding to early-stage science, engineering or technology innovations that have the potential to advance the UK’s transport system.”
T-TRIG (Transport Technology Research and Innovation Grants) are available to companies or academic organisations and come in three flavours:
- An open call for innovative ideas focused around transport (up to £25,000 per project)
- A targeted Future Aviation Security Systems call (up to £300,000 per project for around 10 projects)
- A targeted Intelligent Transport Systems call (up to £150,000 per project, for around 3-6 projects)
The deadline for all of the calls is 22nd August 2016.
