It provides guidance on the factors to be used when assessing whether an AI tool should be developed and deployed.\u00a0 It brings together technical, operational, legal, and ethical aspects and it is living document that will be updated periodically.\u00a0 It was distributed to all police forces, as part of the AI Playbook, in June 2025.<\/p><p>The checklist is available with an Appendix on setting up technology advisory panels for reviewing ethical implications.<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">The 2025 checklist should be cited as \u201c<i>PROBabLE Futures and NPCC Responsible AI Checklist for Policing, M.
