International
Our international work centres on two key aspects:
- Working with other global leaders in this area to share practice and expertise.
- Providing opportunities for our regional organisations to network and link up with others across the globe.
To support this work, we are developing strategic global partnerships. These currently include:
The Off-site Construction Research Centre (OCRC) at the University of New Brunswick, in Canada, is dedicated to accelerating construction innovation through the improvement and adoption of off-site construction technologies and practices. As the Canadian leader in off-site construction (OSC) knowledge creation and mobilisation, the OCRC-UNB brings together industry partners, academics, and students to transform traditional construction methods into more efficient, sustainable off-site manufacturing processes.
PTEC: The Spanish Construction Technology Platform. This platform promotes innovation within the construction sector, to respond to new challenges and demands of the sector.
CESI: With 25 campuses around France, CESI Ecole d’Ingenieurs, provides a tailored and intercultural engineering education for students. It has partnerships across all 5 continents providing the opportunity for its students to study abroad and enabling further development of its research and innovation activities.
