I am a geologist with an MSc in Crystallography and my main interests focus on geochemical and geophysical laboratory and fieldwork. I contribute to modules on the BSc programmes, especially where it relates to fieldwork. I am a Fellow of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.geolsoc.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Geological Society<\/a> and serve on their Geoconservation Committee as well as being Chair of both the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.englishgeodiversityforum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">English Geodiversity Forum<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.geoconservationuk.org.uk\/index.php5?title=Main_Page\" target=\"_blank\">GeoConservationUK<\/a> and a member of the Executive Committee of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.progeo.se\/\" target=\"_blank\">ProGEO<\/a> (European Geoconservation).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As Senior Technician in Geography I share responsibility for the research and teaching facilities as well as field equipment.
