Martyn Hudson

Martyn is a Critical Theorist and Historian interested in visuality and visual culture. He works with many arts and activist organisations. He is the author of 7 books – the most recent being ‘Visualising the Empire of Capital’ (Routledge 2019). His next book is forthcoming from Routledge in 2021 – ‘Visualising Worlds: World-Making and Social Theory’ which examines the idea of visuality and darkness in prehistory, antiquity and Anglo-Saxon England. He is, with Dr Julie Crawshaw, the Programme Lead for the MA in Creative and Cultural Industries Management at Northumbria University.
